Our 9.5 inch Pro race converters are available in 1.69, 2.1 and 2.5 STR in stalls from 2800 to 4000 RPM stall.
To help you choose here some additional information about stall torque ratio. Stall torque ratio is the muliplier for torque for a short time when the car is launching , Higher STR will give a much higher torque multiplication for a very short time right at launch but with and overall cost in efficeny at the top end , In other words higher STR may increase your 60 ft times but it may be at the exspense of MPH at the top end. Lower STR while it will not deliver the punch at the bottom like a higher STR it will give torque multiplication for a longer period of time and may allow you to place more power to the ground with less spinning. Additionally the over all efficency is much better where a 2.5 STR might be only 90 percent efficent above rated stall a 1.69 would be 96 percent efficent above rated stall (both these numbers based on converter not locked) meaning you put more power to the ground throughout the run down the track. But each person has different needs and goals which is why we offer multiple STR.
All our converters are warranted for 1 year from date of receipt of the converter at your home, Warranty and liabilites are limited to whats stated on our warranty page.

NOTE: All units are 30 splines, and available in either 2wd or 4x4. If you have a special application requiring a special adapter or output shaft please, contact us and we will be happy to provide it and quote a price for your special application.
NOTE: The LSX transmission has a removable bell housing which is not included with our transmission. You will need to use your original bell housing and extension housing, but the transmission will have the appropriate output shaft for your application. If you need these items they are available at additional cost. It is preferable that you use your OEM items to assure compatibility with your vehicle. |
